Assigning roles to your content in Way We Do helps your team to identify that the policy, procedure, or process is specific to them, for example, a Marketing Policy would have the Marketing roles assigned. It also means that this procedure will only show in the "procedures I’m in" section for anyone with that role.
If you don't assign roles, then the policy, procedure, or process is considered relevant for everyone.
