Quizzes in Way We Do enables you to create interactive quizzes to test employee knowledge, reinforce training, and ensure everyone is up to speed on the latest procedures.

Creating the Quiz

You can create a quiz in one of two ways.

  • Select Manual, then select Create a Quiz

  • From within a Label, select +Add New, then choose Create a Quiz

  • Give your quiz a title

  • Click the plus icon to add a question or text

Quiz Question Types

We have two question types that can be used with Quizzes. These are both multiple choice question types, one is a text based option and the other allows you to use images and text together.

Text Question

  • To add a text question, select the plus button and choose Add a text question

  • This will add in a question block, where you will format the question

  • Enter the Question Title

  • Use the Description section to provide further information about the question being asked (optional)

  • Your first answer is already created for you with the title Option 1. Click this to rename the answer

  • Use the blank field under Options to add the rest of your answer responses

  • Enter the Points for each answer. The correct answer should have the points assigned to it. Incorrect answers should be left as 0. Note: you can create your own scoring system per question, assigning different points for correct and incorrect responses. See the section on Partial Scoring below for further info

Image Question

  • To add an image question, select the plus button and choose Add an image question

  • This will add in a question block, where you will format the question

  • Enter the Question Title

  • Use the Description section to provide further information about the question being asked (optional)

  • Your first answer is already created for you with the title Option 1. Click this to rename the answer

  • Click Select Image to upload an image for the answer. Note: images can be JPG, PNG, or GIF format and must not exceed 15MB

  • Use the blank field under Options to add the rest of your answer responses and images

  • Enter the Points for each answer. The correct answer should have the points assigned to it. Incorrect answers should be left as 0. Note: you can create your own scoring system per question, assigning different points for correct and incorrect responses. See the section on Partial Scoring below for further info

Question Settings

For each question block you add, you can format individual settings, that determine how the question behaves when completing the quiz.

Different questions can have different question settings applied.

  • Select the cog icon

  • The question will flip to show the settings available

  • Choose your Response Selection Type:

    • Single Select: there's only one correct answer

    • Multiple Select: there's more than one correct answer

  • Shuffle Options is off by default. If you want the answers to appear in a different order than how you put them in the question, toggle it to Yes

  • Partial scoring can only be enabled when you have a multi-select answer. Multi-select answers have more than one correct option. If you want the question to be incorrect unless all correct responses are chosen, leave partial scoring off. If you want points allocated for selecting some, but not all, of the correct responses, toggle Partial Scoring Enabled to Yes.

  • Enter correct question feedback on the Feedback for correct response tab. This will show as green text when completing the quiz

  • Enter incorrect question feedback on the Feedback for incorrect response tab. This will show as red text when completing the quiz

Pages of Information

You can insert pages of information in to your quiz. This could be to, for example, set up the quiz, provide scenarios for the next set of questions, or have training information.

  • To add a page of information, select the plus button and choose Add text

  • A block will appear with all of Way We Do's standard edit functionality

  • Add text, images, videos, rich media, tables as required

Quiz Settings

While your quiz is still in Draft or In Review mode, you can apply settings for the whole quiz. Note: the reason you can only modify quiz settings whilst in Draft or In Review is so the settings aren't modified while your team are still completing their quiz

  • Click Finish to ensure you're not in edit mode for the quiz

  • Select Quiz Settings (cog icon)

  • Use the options to format how the quiz will behave overall

  • Shuffle Questions will automatically shuffle the questions each time the quiz is taken

  • If you require the team to continue taking the quiz until they pass, turn Resit Until Pass to on

  • Set the Pass Mark as a percentage

  • If the team have a certain timeframe to complete the quiz within once it's started, enter this in as minutes in the Timer field. Leaving it as 0 sets it as an untimed quiz
