When a procedure has a Revision Schedule set up on it and the schedule triggers, the procedure enters a Revision Assessment period.

The assessment period will reflect what was entered in the Due Within field on the schedule.

How to find a Revision Assessment that is due

  • You can access Revisions that are due from your dashboard (you'll also be reminded of these in your summary email)

  • Select the number to view the revisions that require your attention

  • Revisions will be listed with the procedure name and the date the assessment is due

  • Any revisions that are overdue will be red

Performing a Revision Assessment

  • Any procedure with a Revision Assessment due will display a notification banner, letting you know the due date and the available actions

  • There are two scenarios for a revision assessment:

    • The document requires edits

    • The document does not require edits

Documents requiring edits

  • Where a document requires edits as part of the revision, click Edit Now on the banner, or the regular edit button (pencil icon) to make your changes

  • Continue to edit and then publish as you normally would

  • The Procedure Register will now display this information in the Last Assessment Status and Last Assessment Date fields

  • When a procedure was edited, the status is Modified

  • When you select the procedure title, it will provide further information about the revision assessment

Documents not requiring edits

  • Where a document does not require edits as part of the revision, click No Edit Required on the banner

  • A popup will appear with default text. You can either remove, modify, or add to this text and click Finish

  • The Procedure Register will now display this information in the Last Assessment Status and Last Assessment Date fields

  • When a procedure was not edited, the status is Accepted

  • When you select the procedure title, it will provide further information about the revision assessment

Revision Assessment Statuses

There are five different statuses a Revision Assessment can be in:

  • Active: the revision is ready to be completed and the due date hasn't been reached

  • Accepted: the revision has been completed and No Edit Required was selected

  • Modified: the revision has been completed and an edit was performed

  • Missed: when a revision was not completed and, based on the Revision Schedule, another Revision Assessment has started, the one not completed is flagged as missed

  • Overdue: the revision due date has been reached and no activity has occurred
