Instructions for retiring or deleting a procedure

You can easily delete or retire any procedure from your Way We Do manual using the editing tools provided.

  • Click the trash can icon on the right side of the screen

  • On a draft, the only option is to delete. This will delete all drafts since the last published version. Which means if it's never been published, the drafts are all permanently deleted

  • On a published procedure, you can choose to either delete or retire the procedure

  • Retiring a procedure is recommended as it enables you to reference it again if required, as well as retaining any activity associated with it

  • As an additional security step, when deleting a document, you will need to type DELETE before the Delete the procedure button becomes active

    Use caution when deleting your procedures. This action is permanent and documents cannot be retrieved once they are deleted.
