Editing a published Activated Checklist is now easier. By clicking on the 'Edit' button you are able to create a temporary editable version of the Activated Checklist without affecting the published Activated Checklist. After you are done editing, publish the Activated Checklist to merge the existing version and update to a new version of the Activated Checklist.

Click on the Activated Checklist you would like to edit

Click on the edit icon on the upper right of the Activated Checklist.

Note: If the checklist already has a version currently being edited, then the edit button will look like 'a pencil and an eye',

clicking on it will take you to version currently being edited. Click on the edit icon again to edit the Activated Checklist.

Clicking on the edit button automatically moves to the procedure to the 'Editing' view and switches the status of the Activated Checklist to 'Draft' by default.

Once in edit mode, you are able to make changes and additions to the;

  • Checklist purpose,

  • Checklist steps,

  • Instruction panel and role assignments, and

  • Step order.

Click on 'Finish' if you are done editing the draft version and would like to come back at a later date to edit the Activated Checklist again.

You are also able to click on Pending review if you wish to invite others to review the edit that you made in the Activated Checklist. Click Finish to invite other users to review the Activated Checklist.

A dialogue box will appear and prompt you to invite others to review the Activated Checklist. Click Send Invite.

When you want to go back to the procedures you are editing, the editing section will be easier for you to be able to see the Draft and Pending Review procedures by clicking on the status filter.

If you are done editing, Click on the Published tab or button on top to publish the edited version. Click on Finish to Publish the Activated Checklist.

A Prompt will then let you enter some details into the Activated Checklist.

Reason - Enter the reason for the changes in the Activated Checklist if there are any.
